3 rappers from Tennessee to be on the lookout for in 2019

When it comes to the music scene in Tennessee most people would attach country as its biggest genre with Billboard charting artist like Kane Brown but, hip hop is still very prevalent. Rappers like Starlito, Isaiah Rashad and Yo Gotti have shaped the standards of rap in Tennessee. Here are 3 rappers from Tennessee to be on the look out for in 2019. I've personally listened to each artist and I can say in 2019 we have a lot to look forward for in hip hop here in Tennessee.​

Duke Deuce - Memphis

His music is energetic. It has that classic Memphis sound reminiscent of that old 3-6 Mafia. OG's in the Memphis rap scene like, Project Pat, already gave him the green light as if he needed one. He is set to drop a new project soon. Be looking out for that exclusive Milkdrop interview.

Interstate Tax - Chattanooga

Spice 1 knew exactly what he was doing when he signed Interstate Tax. Tax is taking "Trap music" back to its roots in Tennessee. All of the DJs love spinning his music in their set because they know the people gone go crazy. He dropped his debut album "Before The Deal" on Black Friday, 2018.​

Treeo - Nashville

He reminds me of Boosie but thats only because of his voice and the choice of beats he use got a New Orleans flavor but crazy enough he is from the country music capital.
