Life’s a  Game, and Rock Floyd is Winning.

Rock Floyd makes me feel cool when I listen to his music. His laissez-faire floss and top notch, sometimes chip-tune, production style makes me feel like life is a game. If it is a game, Floyd is winning without cheat codes. He’s smart, cool, and an incredible producer. He’s unabashedly honest in his feelings, but self-aware enough to be empathetic with his shortcomings. It’s like a self-aware flex that Floyd navigates smoothly with his controller.

Unique, is another word I want to say for Rock Floyd. His word choice, production, and sample choice isn’t being done anywhere else in Hip-hop. The success formula in rap is to keep it real and that’s why he gets bigger and better with every release. “The Deep Murky Waters” is certainly one of the best hip-hop projects out of Chattanooga this year. (Easily I might add, this man is seriously talented) I am anticipating what’s next for Rock Floyd and he’s got a killer video out too.
